Logan Farrell how was your freshmen season?

My freshman year was one to remember. It was the first year that I played a skill position due to playing weight-restricted football growing up. I capitalized on this opportunity and got to tear up the field whenever I got the chance. I played tight end and middle linebacker and scored 12 TDs with our team finishing 9-0 making it the best freshman record in school history.

What does football mean to you?

The most competitive games bring out the most competitive people. I love how competitive the game is and the physicality it takes to play it. Off the field, I like the grind in the weight room and on the track to prepare myself for the next season.

What was one of your favorite memories last season?

I had lots of fond memories throughout our undefeated season, but probably the most memorable moment was getting the chance to play in two IHSA playoff games.

What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?

On the field, I have a mix of physicality and athleticism. I'm strong enough to put my fingers in the ground as a tight end and be the point of attack in the run game. As well as athletic enough to stand up in the slot and be a mismatch in the quick passing game and screens.

What should college coaches know about you?

College coaches should know that I’m a three-sport athlete (football, basketball, and track) with a 4.0 GPA. I like to compete on the field and in the classroom.

What part of your game do you plan on working on in the offseason?

This off-season I will continue to increase my strength in the weight room, my speed on the track, and my competitiveness in playing 7on7 in the spring.

What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season?

As a sophomore next season my goal is to start on varsity and help contribute to our team's overall success. As well as establishing myself as one of the top tight ends in the area.
