Rocco Valenti how was your 2019 season? Was great coach, Had a great sophomore season, got called up to play right tackle on varsity and went to the state championship game. Even though we did not win, It. was great to get the experience and play with the upperclassmen. They treated me like their own. What does football mean to you? It is part of me now and it parallels life. I can not believe how much I missed it when it was taken away from me. We have a great group of guys and coaches this year. Extremely excited to start the season What should college coaches know about you? I am grateful for my coaches and trainers that I have to get me to this point. Coach Nee has gotten the best out of me this past year and I appreciate it. I am an extremely physical player. I am the strongest payer on the team. I like putting guys down or out of the play. I will win every snap I take and it is personal to me. I am a bit quiet but they jokingly call me the silent assassin lol. I have worked hard all off season for this year. I can not wait... What do you like about playing on the line? Coach Pete, I love the physicality, the constant one on one battles and hearing guys loose their breath when I fall on them. The appreciation from our backs is great also. How good is this St. Rita Offensive line? We are large physical and hungry to get back to the championship game, if we have one. We have a good mix of young hungry juniors and talented experienced seniors. Should be a fun but shortened season.
