Spencer Martin how has your offseason been so far? It’s going great! I played with Midwest boom for a while and then stopped to just focus on getting better for this upcoming season. I have been doing receiver training with Coach Landon Cox, and have been lifting and practicing with my school. How was your freshmen season? It was good, I played for the freshman and JV team. Our freshman team struggled a bit but I made the best out of it! What does football mean to you? Football means everything to me. Believe it or not I started playing football my 8th grade and had a broken hand, so I only played in 2 games. I have loved the sport since I started playing and I have a ton of fun! I love the teamwork that goes into football and creating bonds with everyone on the team.

What should college coaches know about you? I’m a very hard worker, I put 100% into every rep and everything I do, I am very coachable, and I am a great teammate and leader. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest trait on the field would probably my size. It makes it easier to get those jump balls and catch contested catches What is your favorite route to run? Well I love go balls, but my favorite route is probably a post.

What are your goals for the upcoming season? My main goal for this upcoming season is to play with the varsity team. I think that playing with them will get me a lot better and will help me learn a ton!
