Nolan Skarr Naperville Central Defensive Back Class of 2022

Nolan Skarr how was your season? My season was great. Personally, I was super happy with what I put on film and I feel like I had major growth since my junior year. I am very happy with my teammates. We had guys who battled all year. Our front 7 were key in our defense, they allowed us to play our coverages very well. What does football mean to you? Football gives me a sense of connection to my teammates like no other sport can. Football is a team sport, so you all need to be on your best game in order to come out victorious. Football makes me happy and brings everyone together to create a special bond. What schools have you been talking to so far? I’ve talked to a handful of schools such as UIndy, North Central, Indiana Wesleyan, Augustana, Carthage, North Park, Coe College, St. Xavier, Benedictine. What should college coaches know about you? College Coaches should know that I am going to give 100% effort at no matter what I do. I will never back down from a challenge and I will not back down no matter what. I am hard working and have earned my personal success. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?

I feel as if my versatility on the defense is a solid trait I have. I am well versed from a DB perspective. I love to fly up and make tackles at full speed, but I am also able to play solid coverage, cause pass break ups and get interceptions. I started at SS my junior year and then changed to CB my senior year, so I understand both positions well.
