So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Daniel Alaimo how was your sophomore season?

My sophomore season I started as a backup then became a starter. Started 6 out of 9 games.

What does football mean to you?

Football was my escape from hard times in my life. It helped me physically, and mentally get stronger. Right when I stepped in that field, I fell in love with football.

What should college coaches know about you?

I will do whatever they need me to do, when they need me to do it. I’m a very flexible player.

What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?

My strongest trait on the field is protecting my teammates, and making sure they don’t get tackled.

What do you like about playing in the trenches?

One thing I like about the trenches is the contact.
