Jacob Harvey Mt. Zion WR Class Of 2026 6'1 170
Jacob Harvey how was your first week of practice? First week of practice felt really good. I’m feeling better than ever as a player and I’m excited for what this team will do in the upcoming season. What does football mean to you? To me, football means everything and it’s what I want to do for as long as I can. What should college coaches know about you? That I’m a very hard worker on the field and in school. I’m a good teammate who loves to see my other teammates succeed.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I’ve been getting stronger to help improve my blocking. Also working on explosiveness to help get in and out of my breaks better. How does Mt.Zion look for the upcoming season? So far through the summer and official practice I think we’re looking really good as a team. Our skill guys are all returning and we have a lot of talent at those positions. And our line is mostly new guys who are practicing great and ready to step up for the team. What game are you most excited for this upcoming season? I’m most excited for our game against Mahomet after losing to them last year.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I think my speed is my strongest trait on the field.
Who on Mt. Zion is ready for a breakout season? I think JC Anderson is poised for a breakout season. We’re both ready to prove that we’re done of the best receivers in the area.
