Demond Butcher Montini Class of 2021 DL 6'1 260
Demond Butcher how was your 2019 season? My 2019 season was one of the better seasons that I’ve played so far. I felt like during that season I was able to grow and advance my skill set and get a greater understanding of the game.
What schools have you talked to so far? I’ve spoke with St. Thomas, Eastern Illinois, Emporia State and Winona State
What should college coaches know about you? I would like for colleges coaches to know the love and passion that I have for the game of football. Also, that I believe in operating as a team player. I give my all on every situation no matter the circumstances on and off the field because I am a disciplined person.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest trait on the field is my ability to see the play before it actually occurs. I watch a lot of film so when teams come out in different formations I know what is about to happen. Also my quickness. For a bigger guy people would not expect me to move so quick so when they see how quick and fast I move they are surprised. Lastly, my ability to keep my teammates encouraged. What are your thoughts on IHSA Spring Football? It will be different. Playing football in the spring instead of the fall is something to adjust too. Yet, I am excited and eager that I will have the opportunity to showcase my skills and abilities for the last time playing high school football.
