Chatting With Mather Running Back Jacob Scott Class Of 2024

So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Jacob Scott Mather RB/ATH Class Of 2024 5'8 185

Jacob Scott how was your junior season? It was great I became more aware of my footwork, balance, and stability. What does football mean to you? Well, Football is not just anything to me it's my life I've played this sport since I was 5 years old and have been at it ever since. This sport creates useful tactics that I use outside of football like working hard in the classroom and not walking to class, lol. I hope this sport takes me far so that I could help my family out and my necessities, basically all I want to do is have fun and make money from having fun from playing the game of football. What should college coaches know about you? I am very smart RB, and a well invested individual with a total of 31 touchdowns freshman to junior year and ongoing into my senior year.

What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? Speed. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? Control. What goals do you have for yourself this season? Breaking the IHSA single season scoring record How was your wrestling season? Great.

How does Mather look for the upcoming season? Locked in.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting
