So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Kaleb Isom WR/DB Marian Catholic Class Of 2024 6'0 194

Kaleb Isom how is your season going for you so far? My season is going well even though I haven’t contributed on offense as in catching as many passes as I would like or showing off my all-around skill set, I’m still able to showcase what I can do on both sides of the ball. Even when the ball isn’t in my hands being active for my teammates because I got there back and the got mine! What does football mean to you? Football is deeper than just a game to me I’ve been chasing this dream since I was five years old, and it’s become a part of me. You can’t say my name and not think about football connected with me. I have grown a love for this sport and God has blessed me with this talent that I won’t waste. This sport has taught me discipline, mental and physical strength, and to be a well-rounded young man. I see myself playing at the next level and I will always bet on myself! What should college coaches know about you? That I am very coachable on and off the field. I love this game and will put in overtime to get where we need to be, and I am a leader I hold us student athletes accountable in the classroom and on the field because I love to see my teammates win as much as I do! What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest trait is that I always persevere and will make those big plays when they are needed, because big time players make big plays and like stated before I always bet on myself

What goals do you have for yourself rest of the season? My goals for myself for the rest of the season is to go 100% with the rest of the targets I get, to come up big against brother rice let them know my name and finally finish with 500+ rec yards 10 + touchdowns 5+ interceptions and 20+ solo tackles.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting
