Ben Wiley Huntley DL/OL Class of 2023 6'2 210

Ben Wiley how was your junior season? I enjoyed the season especially after the shortened spring season. It was fun to play with my senior teammates that will be graduating. I wish our record would have better reflected the talent that we had. What does football mean to you? Football is extremely important to me. I believe it is a lifestyle. My teammates become my family and I like to learn from my coaches. I have grown to love it from morning workouts, summer practice, etc. this makes our team have a better culture. This is a culture that I have grown to love. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest trait I exhibit on the field is that I never give up. If that means playing to the whistle, finishing thru the 4th quarter and even when we were losing I never give up. I also believe I don’t fold under pressure. I keep a level head out on the field and try to keep my team motivated. What should college coaches know about you? I have a high motor, I’m a strong leader, I have a passion for the game and I want to see what the future will hold for me. How is your wrestling season going for you so far? It has been a hard season so far this year. We have gone against some very talented teams throughout the nation. I have learned from each match I have done and I keep getting better. My coach’s this year have been huge in helping me become a better wrestler and I hope that becoming a better wrestler will help me be a better football player. Our team just recently came back from The Clash in Wisconsin which has teams across the nation compete. The team placed 1st in our bracket and I went 3-2 in the tournament. What part of your game do you plan working on in the offseason? I plan to work on my speed and agility in the off-season to become more aggressive off the ball.
