Kayleib McDowell Homewood Flossmoor DT Class Of 2024 6'1 325

Kaylieb McDowell how was your junior season? It was great., I learned a lot this year being transfer from a 2A going to an 8A high school. It was a challenge, but I just kept working and progressing. What does football mean to you? It means the world to me I try to put everything into it. And work to keep my football career going What should college coaches know about you? They should know I put my grades first. I’m a respectful young man and really confident in my potential but I try to stay humbled. I work for what’s given to me and people say my personality is great My potential being on and off the field with grades and my talent What do you like about playing in the trenches? The competition really, but most importantly this year the competition especially with the jump I made and my lack of knowledge of being a top tier DL. Really taught me a lot, also I like playing angry and being able to be able to hit someone every play gives me more fuel for the fire. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strength, mentality or my aggressiveness One of those are my strongest

What part of your game do you plan on working on in the offseason? My speed 100%... I’m going to focus on everything that will help my success but i will put a lot of dedication in my speed.
