Laith Salim Glenbrook North DT/OG Class of 2023 6'0 235
Laith Salim how was your season?Due to me transferring I had to miss a couple games. I wish could’ve played more but as a player. I felt like this is my best season overall. But there is still some spots I want to improve on next season. Team wise we want to improve and come back better next year. What does football mean to you? When I started football it was just something I wanted to do for fun. Now that I realized I have the talent to play in college I’ve started to take it more seriously and improve as much as I can in the game. What should college coaches know about you?I’m a defensive leader on the field. I love to improve everyday. As a defensive linemen my high school coaches always told me to go 100% on every play and give it my all. I’m going to work everyday to improve my skill set over the offseason. I like to make sure my teammates are ready to give their 100% every play and get their mind right before every game. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?I feel like my confidence and my motor is my strongest trait. I know that I’m going to give more effort then the man in front of me and keep going till i hear a whistle. If I get beat a play I don’t let that bring my confidence down. my mindset is I’m going to get through him and make a play. What part of your game do you plan on working on in the offseason? In the off-season my goal is to work on leverage and finishing. I believe if I get those down I can be a top defensive linemen next season.
