Will Meyer how is your season going so far? It has gone well, there was a rough patch during weeks 2 and 3 when we took our two losses, but I believe we are back on track, and I love the direction our team is headed in now. What does football mean to you? Football for me is a place I can forget about every outside problems and just compete with my friends. Especially this year, majority of the people I take the field with on Saturday’s are some of my closest friends which makes it even more special. What should college coaches know about you? I’m married to the game. I’ll do whatever it takes to succeed in your program.
What has been your favorite memory so far this season? For sure winning that Lyons township game. That was a huge moment for our team after going on a team game losing streak, that game felt like a must win. So once that last field goal to tie the game was blocked, tons of stress was relieved and it was a great moment. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I would say my ability to tackle and hit. Who on Glenbard West is having a breakout season? I would definitely say Teyion Oriental. He picked up the role of our starting running back one julius when down. But also Jack Moellering who just joined back recently for our team. He’s someone to look out for. What do incoming Glenbard West players need to know about this football program? If you're coming into this program, you have to understand the culture and truly buy in. That’s the only way to form a great team at Glenbard West. We don’t always have the best athletes, but we have the kids that care and refuse to lose.
