Mirko Jaksic how was your junior season? My junior season was an amazing season, individually and as a team. I felt that after every game we got better and as a player I was able to step up my skill set week by week. What does football mean to you? Football is an opportunity for me to compete at a high level, learn discipline from my coaches and builds bonds with my brothers. What should college coaches know about you? I have a dedicated work ethic in the gym and practice at a high level on the field. I study and take notes on film from previous games to learn and be ready in my preparation for upcoming games. I play with energy, emotion and excitement. I play for my teammates and coaches in representing the school. As well as my family in the stands. What do you like about playing in the trenches? In the trenches, I feel comfortable knowing it’s a battle of strength and skill. I like being able to contribute success to the team by doing my 1/11th. What part of your game are you working on in the offseason? This offseason I’m working on perfecting my technique as well as building speed.
