Chatting With Crete-Monee OL Vincent Vargas Class Of 2024 - Name You Must Know

So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Vincent Vargas Crete-Monee OL Class Of 2024 6'2 255

Vincent Vargas how was your junior season last fall? It was great I played the ball I have ever, and I played a major role this year. Me and my other O-linemen were a unit when need. As a team we beat the odds and went farther than anyone thought we would. What does football mean to you? Football to me Is my lifestyle. Football betters me in life, the classroom, and overall mental health. Football has given me more opportunities that I could ever imagine and has bettered my life. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know that I work harder then anyone and everyone. I show up to big games no matter the pressure and whatever you need me to do, I’ll do it.

What do you like about playing in the trenches? I love the grit and the technicality of playing in the trenches, and I love the brotherhood in the O-line and there in no other group like that on a football team. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest trait on the field in being able to lead and guide my team to victory. I know what to do when my team is struggling and how to lift my team when needed. How does Crete-Monee look for the upcoming season? We look good we are always going to be a top team in the state of Illinois. No matter what anyone says and I’m going to make sure that we are on the level we were last year.

What goals do you have for yourself this season? My goals for myself this season are to be the best team captain I can be, to repeat all-conference and be an all-state mention. Another goal I have set for myself is getting multiple offers from colleges.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting
