Jack O'Connell how was your Spring Season? I was glad to get out on the field and compete. Sadly I had a shortened season due to my mom getting covid. I also enjoyed playing with some extremely talented seniors who showed me the way. What does football mean to you? I love football it’s far and away my favorite sport! I work year round to become better at it and I hope to keep playing at the college level What do you like about playing in the trenches? I like being physical and controlling the line of scrimmage and beating the guy in front of me. It feels great to get a big play off because we did our job right. What should college coaches know about you? That I’m a big, physical, dedicated player that’s committed to helping my team win. I’m confident that my best football is ahead of me as I keep training and working to become better. What game are you looking most forward to this season? We’re focused on week 1 and starting off the year 1-0 most of all. But I can’t deny that the week 9 matchup against Marist is in the back of my head because there’s no better rivalry and atmosphere than the battle of Pulaski! We owe them one from last year!
