Caige Williams Bradley-Bourbonnais QB Class of 2022 6'2 190

Caige Williams how was your spring season? As a team we went 3-3 but I truly believe our record doesn’t reflect how special of a team we were. If we had the chance to replay the 6 teams we played again I believe we would win all 6 games. Not only were we one win away from being conference champs but we were 1 point away due to our loss to Lincoln Way West 23-24. Personally I had 941 yards, 7 passing tds, and 6 rushing. Against Lincoln Way West I broke the school record for passing yards in a single game with 341 yards. What should college coaches know about you? One thing I pride myself in is my work ethic. I will never be the biggest, fastest, or strongest player on the team but I will never let someone outwork me. I also pride myself in the amount of film I watch. I’m always looking for areas I can get better in not only physically but mentally as well so that I can not only try and be the best version of myself but make my team better as well. What does football mean to you? I’ve been playing football since I was 5 years old it’s all I know. There’s no words to describe the way I feel on a football field. When I’m on a field I feel like all my problems and stress go away and the only thing going on in the world is playing the game I love with my teammates. I know that I won’t be able to play football forever but football will forever be apart of my life. What do you like about playing QB? Playing QB comes with a lot of extra pressure and you have everyone watching you. With that being I said I feel like I can really define how my offense plays depending on how I act as a leader. I have to challenge and train myself daily not only physically but mentally in order to play QB. How does this Bradley Bourbonnais look for the upcoming season? We’re going to make some noise this season. We have a lot of skill guys returning. Offensively we have Nathan Murphy returning at RB and all our starting receivers Mark Robinson, Mekhi Brown, Neal May, and Caleb Barclay. Defensively we have a lot of skill guys returning including linebacker Detric Dee. We’re very under the radar and have high expectations for ourselves. The last couple of years we’ve missed out on the playoffs and we’re hungry to be back in them. Don’t be surprised when you see Bradley Bourbonnais make a run in the 7a playoffs this upcoming season.
