Angel Mancilla how is your season going for you so far? So far, the season is going well our defense had an opening game shutout win and another big SWSC Red win this past Friday. We’ve learned from two tough loses that should’ve gone the other way and it’s only made us better. What does football mean to you? Football is an opportunity to be out there with my teammates and coaches having fun, learning, growing and building lifetime relationships. I’ve been playing football since i was 5, it means the world to me. What should college coaches know about you? They should know I’m a leader on and off the field and very hard working and always the first to be there and last to leave, I put countless hours into improving my game to be better. The weight room and film room have been my home away from home. How big was that win last week against Lincoln Way West? It was a huge way to open up the SWSC Red conference play with a win. It’s the first time our school has beat them since 2014. Our offense did really good with our quarterback Ethan Kohl leading the way and breaking a school record in passing yards. Defensively our front four played well. They gave me an opportunity for me to step up and make some huge plays. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My aggressiveness and my ability to read the field. Who on Bradley Bourbonnais is having a breakout season? Ethan Kohl, Neal May, Luke Allen, Caleb Barclay, Victor Rodgers, Jax Fanning.
