Jake May how was your Junior season? It was good, it didn’t end how I wanted too. We are going to make sure that doesn’t happen this year.
What does football mean to you?
Football means everything to me
What was one of your favorite memories last season?
My favorite memory was probably the HF game when they kept getting into the redzone and we kept shutting them out, or when we shut out Simeon 33-0 and I had a pick. What motivates a Jake May? Grinding for that first offer and to go to college for free so my parents don’t have to worry about paying for anything. Going out in the first round of the playoffs will be in the back of my head until we get to the playoffs again and reach our goal. What do you like about playing on the defense? You can stand out and make plays, you get to play aggressive and deliver big hits. Fly around and play fast! How does Bolingbrook look for the upcoming season? We look solid, we have a lot of young talent and returners from last year. We are a fast team that is going to hit and run sideline to sideline with anyone. What game are you most looking forward to this upcoming season? Every game but probably Lincoln Way East, Homewood Flossmoor, and Lockport.
