Conor Hickey Aurora Central Catholic WR/ATH Class Of 2024 6'0 180
Conor Hickey how was your junior season? Personally my junior season was great, it was my best season so far but I still have plenty of room to grow and so does our team. What does football mean to you? To me football is a way to escape all the stress and have fun with my friends and it’s a great way to get the school community together on Friday nights. What should college coaches know about you? They should know that I’ll always be there to work no matter what and be ready to see some crazy stuff out on that field because of the athleticism I was blessed with.
What schools have you been talking to so far? Carrol, Upper Iowa, Monmouth, Concordia-Wisconsin, Dayton, Wheaton, Lake Forest, Carleton, Ripon, St. Anselm, St. Francis (Joliet), St. Francis (Indiana), Norfolk State, Eau Claire, Carthage, Buena Vista, Clarke, Valporaiso, Limestone, Indiana Wesleyan, Catawba, Central College, Aurora, Loras, Beloit, Illinois State, Northern Michigan, Eastern Illinois, St. Thomas, Illinois Wesleyan, Augustana, Wartburg, Indiana State, and Elmhurst. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I’d definitely say my speed and my abilities in the open field and I’m also not going to be taken down easily.
How does ACC look for the upcoming season? The season is looking great, we have a lot of returning guys that were great for us last year, And we’ve decided to go independent for the next 3 years to build up to us entertaining the CCL and that was a great move by our AD. Who on ACC is ready for a breakout season this fall? I’d definitely say Kevin Stanislo, Jack Loria, Zack Dineen, Joe Brown, Grant Bohr, and myself have what is takes. Who is the funny guy on the ACC squad? Funny guy on the squad definitely has to be Noe Olguin, he’s the guy you always got to remind not to forget his cleats or helmet, but he’s got to be the clown on the team.
