Samir Senenat Glenbard North DE/DT Class Of 2024 6'5 230

Samir Senenat how was your junior season? My junior year was great, started off slow over the summer and first couple games but picked up by end of the season to become one of the best juniors in the conference. What was one of your favorite memories last season? One of my favorites memories is when we beat Neuqua Valley, when Lucas Rossini recovered the fumble in overtime, I remember seeing our sidelines going crazy jumping up and down, the happiest I’ve seen any of my teammates be. Unforgettable. What should college coaches know about you? I’m very coachable and will adjust to whatever situation they put me in, I'll always go 1000% during practices or games. I’m also great around my teammates, I’ll always try to help the guy next to me if he’s struggling with something I understand. Being ineligible because of my grades will never be a problem. What do you like about playing in the trenches? The fact it’s not for everybody to play, you got to be built different play down there. On every play you have the chance to make a game changing play and that’s what makes playing DL great. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My technique, I wasn’t always the strongest or the fastest on the field, but my technique made up for it making me hard to block.

What excites you the most about this upcoming season? I’m most excited to be back playing the sport I love, playing with new teammates and learn and grow with them. Hopefully I can lead them to the playoffs and make it far in there.
