Karson King welcome back... How is your season going for you so far?
Great, didn’t have the start we wanted, but we fixed some minor tweaks and are now rolling full steam ahead.
What has been your favorite memory so far this season?
Becoming the career reception record leader.
Do you feel that the loss to Nazareth help motivate you guys?
Definitely, it made us realize that we weren’t invincible.
What do you feel you have improved on this season from last season?
Route running and yards after catch (YAC). But most importantly leadership, learning how to take everything that comes with being a captain.
What goals do you have for yourself rest of the season?
Secure conference, make all-conference, survive through the playoffs and be prepared to play November 26th to hopefully secure a state championship.
Who on Kankakee is having a breakout season? The Chandler brothers, Kennyan and Kennarius. Get your eyes on them, heart of our defense.
