You are a very talented pitcher in baseball. What made you decide it was time to focus on football only?

I was forced to take a break from pitching due to an elbow injury. My hope is to come back to baseball and pitching next year after the football season.

How has your off-season workouts and training been going? Have you made any changes or gains?

I lift with the Caravan Tough program, go to Defensive Line training on the weekends and workout on my own any chance I get. My gains - I have put on 25 lbs since the end of the season and have gained strength all around while improving my speed and agility.

You played tight end last year. Do you see your self at a different position this year?

I feel like I have the ability to play both positions. My coaches have been working with me to play DE this year but I am ready to play whatever position they need.

The Caravan are coming off of back to back state championships and will have graduated a lot of seniors. What do you plan to bring to the team?

I want to be an impact player that both my coaches and teammates can rely on.

What areas are you trying to improve?

I’m learning the DE position and also working on my speed and agility.

What is your strongest trait on the field?

My ability to disrupt the opposite side of the field.

Are you planning on attending any camps this summer?

Yes. My Defensive Line coach is putting together a list of camps for me to attend this summer. I will also be attending “The Stage Spring Showcase” at COD.

What motivates you to win?

I have always had a competitive drive and a love for the game of football.

If there’s one person on your team that you expect to have a breakout year, who is it?

Braeden Jones - I have been able to lift with him during the off season and also train with him on the weekends. I see how hard he works and know he is going to have a great year.
