Nate Compere how was your 2019 season?
I’d say my 2019 season went very well. The jump from junior high to varsity football was a huge adjustment, but I think by the end of the season I was up to speed thanks to our team. Captains took me under their wing.
What does football mean to you?
Football is a huge part of my life it gives me something to look forward to everyday. I love the challenge the competitiveness and it’s a physical sport.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
I’ve been working on everything . Getting faster stronger more explosive. I’ve been focusing on my footwork and my technique trying to be the best football player I can be.
What do you like about playing in the trenches?
I love being able to hit someone every play. I love when our team counts on us and needs us to get the tough yards
What should college coaches know about you?
I'm gonna out work anyone at my position to get the starting job. I'm gonna be a role model on and off the field.
How was your wrestling season past winter?
It’s was really good... It helped me a lot with my footwork, leverage, balance and being competitive.
