Boston Bower how was your 2019 season?
It was a fun and challenging season. I’m proud that I earned a spot on the varsity roster as a freshman. I learned a lot from the seniors that graduated, I learned what varsity football was about. They showed me how much work you have to put in to perform on a varsity level.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
I was asked to switch from linebacker to defensive line, I am excited to take on the challenge of learning a new position. I’ve been really focusing on technique and mechanics, I’m lucky to have two really great coaches. My position coach, Coach Milazzo and Ive been putting in extra work with Coach Salomon during the week in the evening.
What does football mean to you?
That’s a great question, football to me means everything. I love this game, I’m disappointed right now that we aren’t playing. I’ve been playing tackle football since I was 5 and it’s just odd that we aren’t playing in the fall right now. I’m looking forward to playing and being with my teammates and coaches in February. It can’t get here fast enough.
How does Huntley look for 2021?
The team looks great, we have great leaders in Bruno Bosman, Alex Janke, and Brad Walker. The practices we did have, the team was clicking we were coming together as a team we are flying around looking good. We should have a really good season again and I’m looking forward to contributing to the teams success anyway I can.
What should college coaches know about you?
They should know I’m a hard worker and I am very coachable, I’m very versatile and open to new challenges as well. I like to pride myself on being a team player.
