Mason Ahlers how was your 2019 season?
I thought it was a pretty great season, wish we could have made it a bit further into the playoffs though.
What schools have you talked to so far?
NIU, Ball State, Northern Illinois and a few other schools.
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
I think i’m a hard working, dedicated player and try to bring lots of energy in the field and in the weight room.
How does Edwardsville look for 2020?
We have one of the toughest schedules EHS has had in recent years and we aren’t returning a lot of starters. However, I think we will surprise people.
What does football mean to you?
I fell in love with the game at an early age, starting when i was 5 years old. It has been a huge part of my life ever sense.
What position do you feel most comfortable in on the field?
I’ve played a different position so far every year of highs school, but tight end is probably my favorite right now. Although, I realize that might not be my position at the next level.
