Gyanni Kanellakis how was your 2019 season?
I would say, overall, it was pretty good. As a team we didn’t reach our main goal, but we had a pretty good season. I was out with an injury for a few weeks and then I was able to come back and play in the last few games of the season. Overall, I’d say my 2019 season went pretty well.
What should college coaches know about you?
College coaches should know that I’m a hard working kid who is focused and will compete at a very high level on the field and in the classroom.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I feel my strongest trait on the field is my ability to go make a play on the ball. Whether it be on a run or a pass, I feel I can go and make a play on the ball.
What does football mean to you?
Football means a lot to me. Although I haven’t been playing very long, it’s just become a big part in my life. I’ve made a lot of friends and memories that I won’t forget, and it’s something that I’ll always love.
How does Cary-Grove look for 2020?
Cary-Grove for 2020 looks really good. We have a great group of guys who are willing to do anything for each other on the field. Every guy on our team is willing to work as hard as we have to, to achieve our goal as a team.
Who else on Cary Grove should I be on the lookout for?
I think you should be on the lookout for John Gagliano. He is a great football player, a great student, and an even better kid. He is one of the hardest workers I have seen. He’s just an overall great kid and I look forward to getting to play alongside him this year.
