Jacob Welch how was your 2019 season?
I feel like a play pretty well and was very excited to play on varsity. I learned a lot and just wish we would of won 1 more game to go to the playoffs.
What has been your favorite memory of the 2019 season?
Week 1 against Marian Central when I faced a D1 player. I felt that a held my own and learned that I can play at the varsity level.
What schools have you talked to so far?
I talk to North Dakota in the fall and Syracuse called my coach about me but we haven’t talk to yet.
What should college coaches know about you?
I have a very good football IQ. I have very quick feet and I move of the ball fast. I’m super competitive in games and at practices. I just love to play the game.
What does football mean to you?
Football is about family. A brotherhood. It’s about pushing each other, working hard, and building trust with each other. Because there no better feeling than winning a game on Friday night.
What goal do you have for yourself in 2020?
I want to get All- Conference next year. As a returning starter I want to be 1 of our leaders on offense. I want my team to make the playoff and go to state.
