Devin Hale how was your 2019 season?
My 2019 season was pretty good, but not as good as what it should’ve been, we made it to the 3rd round of playoffs and lost to Rochester who won state, I had high hopes for our team I really thought we were gonna be playing in that state championship game.
What does football mean to you?
Football means everything to me, it’s my life. I grew up playing football since I was 6, as I grew older I just gained a lot of love and pride for the game, and its truly more then just a sport it teaches you a lot of things In life. The dedication to football and putting in work almost everyday to get better, is something that’s is hard but I enjoy.
What schools are you talking to so far?
I’ve been in touch with some D1 schools like Indiana state, Murray state, Illinois state, Western Illinois, Southern Illinois. As well the D2 school Upper Iowa, I’ve been most in touch with Indiana state, they have a great coaching staff over there.
What should college coaches know about you?
I’m a great student athlete, I have a 3.3 GPA and I have a great work ethic and I’m willing to put in the work, I’m a captain of my team, I have great leadership skills, and I’m vocal. I’m a very versatile kind of player I can play interior on the offensive line OG/C and interior on the defensive line NG/DT. And I’m pretty athletic for my size
How does the SHG OL look for 2020?
Our offensive line is looking great, we have all been committed to working in this off time, through zoom workouts and our own workouts. we have everybody returning on the line except 1 starter, we’re all pretty athletic and love the game, we’re all dogs and we’re ready to eat. We’re bringing everything we got this year.
