Marcus Douglas how was your 2019 season?
My 2019 season was pretty good, not the ending we wanted but we were still able to make Hillcrest football history being back to back conference champs!
What does football mean to you?
Football means everything to me it’s molded me into the young man I am today, I don’t know where I’d be without it.
What should college coaches know about you?
College coaches should know that I am a born leader, a hard worker on and off the field, coachable, and dedicated.
What position do you feel most comfortable in?
I feel comfortable at any of the linebacker positions, but most comfortably I’d say the mike backer.
What do you like about playing on the defense?
I like when an offense comes out with a game plan and in that moment I have the ability as a defensive player to make that ineffective and completely useless.
What motivates a Marcus Douglas Jr?
My motivation comes from knowing what it feels like to almost have the game taken away from me. After open heart surgery, I vowed to give the game my best effort.
