Marty Auer how was your 2019 season?
I felt we had a decent season but we didn’t finish the way we wanted to and that’s with a state championship. Coming off a disappointing season I think we have all of the tools we need to bring Loyola back into contention for a state title.
What schools have you been talking to so far?
I recently picked up my first scholarship offer from Bemidji State, but I have a great relationship with coaches from St Thomas, Bowdoin, Indiana Wesleyan, Colgate, and many others.
What should college coaches know about you?
That I’m a hybrid, I can do anything that is required and be successful anywhere on the football field. I’m a playmaker, dominating special teams and defense, being able to change the tide of the game.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the field?
My instincts, having a second sense of what the opponent is trying to do and compromising that.
What game are you looking most forward to for the upcoming season?
Marist 100%. Losing at home twice against the same team is something nobody should take lightly.
