Jack Costello Class of 2021 Hinsdale Central DB/LB 6'1 190
CBP: Jack Costello how was your 2019 season?
JACK: Overall it was a great year. As a team we had a lot of success going 8-1 in the regular season. I was able to learn a ton from a great group of seniors and coaches. I definitely made some great memories and got better as a football player.
What schools have you been talking to so far?
So far I have been talking to Rose-Hulman, WashU, Rochester, Brown, Bowdoin, Augustana, Indianapolis, Drake, Carleton, Wisconsin-Whitewater, St Anselm along with others
What should college coaches know about you?
Coaches should know that I am an extreme competitor and my number one priority is to win with my teammates
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the field?
I would say my strongest trait on the field is my versatility. I have the ability to make plays in the box and stop the run but also cover receivers either in the slot or the outside.
Toughest WR you went up against last season?
Naperville Central had a great WR core last year with players like Jadon Thompson, Reggie Fleurima, Keon Green and others that definitely challenged us as a defense. It’s hard to choose one but one of those guys was definitely my biggest challenge last season
