Ty Hopp Linebacker/RB Class Of 2022 ACC 6'1 205
Ty Hopp how was your 2019 season?
As an individual I think it could’ve been better. I have a lot of things to work on this offseason. As a team i think we could’ve won many more games. We just have to execute more and be more consistent on both sides of the ball.
What does football mean to you?
Football is the world to me. I started playing when i was 4 and i’ve been in love with it ever since. I love the grind on and off the field. I also love learning more and more about the game, i’m never satisfied.
What excites you the most about the upcoming 2020 season?
The opportunity to go back on the field with my brothers and show that we are better than last year. And seeing my teams improvement.
What should college coaches know about you?
I am a hardworking person, in the classroom and on the field. I watch a lot of film and I never back down from a challenge. I believe that there’s always a way to get better. And every time I step on the field or in a classroom I try to learn as much as I can.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the field?
My strongest trait on the field is probably between my speed and strength. And my ability to pass rush on the edges.
What are your Winter/Spring plans?
Right now i’m playing basketball which ends soon. And i’m lifting and working on my speed with my trainer. And i’m taking a visit to Northwestern in the spring also starting to go to college camps.
