Chris Perez how was your 2019 season?
My 2019 season was amazing. Yes i sat behind a good Sr QB in Tyler Elfering but I was learning alot of the new offense that was brought in this past season. When my number was called i took full advantage of my playing time. Being part of the Schools first winning season since 2012 brought the best energy and it’s going to carry on for this upcoming season.
What does football mean to you?
Football is my everything! I have been playing since I could first pick a ball up. It is a game of character passion and hard work and it has built me into the person I am today
What do you like about playing QB?
I love being in charge in the huddle and knowing that my team is relying on me to make plays and be the best team player I can be.
How does this Grant squad look for 2020?
We look really good. We have a lot of our main pieces from last season returning this season. We also have a lot of really good athletes coming up from our sophomore team that had a really successful season last year. I like our chances in the NLCC.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the field?
Being a leader. We could be down and im here having my teammates keep their heads up. I keep the same energy all game and make sure my teammates match that energy.
