Grayson Dexter Class of 2022 BBCHS TE/DE/ATH 6'5 215

How was your 2019 season Grayson Dexter?

My sophomore season was by the far the most fun I had in any sport. I had great coaches to help me and even better teammates to make me better. It was a great learning experience for me with the up and downs of the season.

What does football mean to you?

A way to save some money and if I get the chance, give back to my family. It's something I want to do or be involved in for the rest of my life.

What would you like college coaches to know about you?

College coaches should know that I'm all about the team and I love to learn what I can do to get better. I can promise I'll have one of the best personalities on the team.

How does your BBCHS team look for 2020?

I think we're going to surprise a lot of people with how good we'll be. A lot of people on our team are not only physically but also mentally prepared to get the job done. I love every single one of my teammates from last year and still have close connections with the juniors I'll be playing with next year.

What are your winter/spring plans?

My plans for this off season are constant strength and conditioning with my personal trainer and with the school program. I am most excited with my progress I made at EFT with their football program and 7v7 teams. The focus for this off season is foot speed and speed in general and getting as strong as possible for the next season.

What goals do you have for yourself in 2020?

From a football stand point I want to be a big part of both the offense and defense. Hopefully by the end of the year I can be the best defensive end for our team and get around 7 sacks this season. My focus for offense is to be flexible and play multiple positions, adding that match-up nightmare to open up my teammates and their play making abilities.

What game are you looking forward to in 2020?

All the Lincoln Ways are the games that I look forward to. All of their players force the best out of you in every way possible to make it a close game and win. If I had to narrow it down it would be Lincoln Way Central. They have so many special talents all over the field. Our game last year forced the best out of me and it was fun when we got to beat them at every level.
