Jaylen Olokun how was your 2019 season?
My season went tremendously well!! I led my team in the most tackles and sacks and also had the chance to beat records for most tackles and sacks. I felt that this year so far was my best year and just having fun with my teammates made it a great season.
Favorite memory of the 2019 season?
My favorite memory was beating our rivalry bolingbrook because it was a high intensity close game. Also because that game was really what you it me on the map I had over 10 tackles, 1sack and constantly pressured the QB it was one of my best games and memories for sure.
What motivates a Jaylen Olokun?
What motivates me is my family and the lifestyle because I come from where nothing is given and you have to earn it peace of cloth so really my motivation is my family.
What schools have you talked to so far?
I talked to Iowa, Rice owls, Miami of Ohio, South Dakota, Boston College, and other schools have followed me.
What should college coaches know about you?
Colleges should know that my effort is not a question and I go hard every play. Also I’m willing to learn more about the game I want to grasp as much information as possible and very coachable.
Who on Homewood Flossmoor is going to have breakout season in 2020?
Wow it’s so many guys on our team that’s not really known but it is good. I would say on the defense of side is Malyk Jones he’s been on varsity since his freshman year and me and him both been working hard day in day out and I feel this the year he’s going to dominate.
What does football mean to you?
Football is really everything I been loving the game since a little kid. I just know that if I keep on working hard daily that this game can take me to the highest level and can make a lot of people happy in my family and that’s what football mean to me.
