Jeremy Gelino Glenbard South LB Class of 2021 6'0 205
Jeremy Gelino how was your 2019 season?
We went 6-4 on the season as a team , doing better than the last few years , but altogether were a little disappointed in ourselves. I played middle linebacker this season and saw a lot of success at my new position.
What do you like about playing linebacker?
I like the importance and physicality of it. Being able to be called “captain” of the defense gives me lots of pride and responsibility.
What part of your game do you plan on working on in the offseason?
I plan to work on the mental part of my game , like guard reads and knowing my responsibility. It was my first year of middle linebacker and only 3rd year of football so I’m learning everyday.
What should college coaches know about you?
I get the job done in the classroom and on the field. I’ll adjust to whatever my future coach needs from me.
What does football mean to you?
Football to me means dedication , you can’t play football and not be dedicated the program you’re in. From June to November it’s a grind every time you step on the field.
How good can this Glenbard South squad be for 2020?
Our 2020 squad can be one of the best to come through Glenbard south. We started with around 45 guys from my class freshman year and are down to about 20 , and the guys we got want to win.
