Tommy Hixson how was your 2019 season?
My 2019 season was the most memorable season of my life. We started out 1-3 and ended up winning every game after week 5. We made it all the way to DeKalb and that was the most amazing feeling ever.
Favorite memory of your 2019 season was?
Walking onto the field at NIU with the team. It was the greatest feeling ever to look in those stands and see all the fans cheering for us.
What schools have you been talking to so far?
St. Ambrose, St. Thomas, Kenyon, and University of Wisconsin - Plateville
What should college coaches know about you?
I’m very disciplined and easy to coach. I’ll always try my best and do whatever it takes to get on that field. I’ll always get my teammates backs no matter what. I’m a team player.
What will you miss most about St. Rita football?
Definitely the coaches and my teammates. Everyone i’ve encountered in the program has had a huge impact on my life and shaped me to be who I am today.
What should incoming St. Rita players know about putting on the red?
Every time you throw on the red, white or blue jersey, just know that there are people who got your back no matter what. The brotherhood that forms from playing football at St. Rita is the best brotherhood to be apart of. Trust the brotherhood and trust the process.
