So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for lllinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Connor Schmidt Class of 2020 St. Francis OL/DE/TE 6'5 260

Connor Schmidt how is your season going so far?

The 2019 season has been great so far, for me and the team as a whole. Our offense has been dominant and we’ve been playing great as a team.

What do you see in this ICCP team for next Friday?

Great team. We look forward to a great week of practice to come into Friday prepared

What schools have you been talking to so far?

Columbia, William and Mary, Johns Hopkins, UChicago, Winona State, Northwood, Colby and Carleton

What should college coaches know about you?

I’m dedicated to everything I do, whether it’s on the field, in the weight room, or in the classroom. I think I’m extremely coachable and take every opportunity to get better.

How does it feel to know that this program is back to its glory days during your years?

To see where the program was my freshmen year to where it is now is amazing. The best part is knowing that we’re just the beginning of what it will become

Who is the big eater at St.Francis?

Selfishly I’d like to say our line, both offensively and defensively. But it’s really everyone. Some games defense is lights out and gets the offense the ball back a ridiculous amount, but sometimes the offense picks the team up and gets the job done. We’re not perfect, but we’re getting better week by week

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of IHSA Football

RESPECT THE GAME
