Dan Lazic Maine South WR Class of 2020 5'8 160

Dan Lazic how is your season going so far?

It’s going very well so far. We had a minor setback at the beginning of the year, but people don’t know what Maine South football is. We’ve bounced back and we’re on our roll.

What does football mean to you?

Football means everything to me. I started to play in kindergarten for the Park Ridge Falcons. Football is a special thing and my favorite part about it is that it brings communities together and creates bonds that you will never forget.

What schools have you been talking to so far?

I’ve talked to schools in every division, but the ones that have shown the most interest are Butler, University of Indianapolis, Drake, North Park, and Judson.

What should college coaches know about you?

Many people degrade me for my size, but I am one of the most hardworking athletes and I take pride in that. I give it my all and if I don’t succeed I will get to work and try again

What motivates a Dan Lazic?

My motivation has always been legacy. The legacy at Maine South is way beyond many schools and it’s an honor to compete for this team. I strive to be known as a player at Maine South.

This is your senior season... What should incoming freshmen know about Maine South football?

People always say that high school goes by fast, but when you’re playing football it will go by a lot faster. Don’t take this stuff for granted. It’s luxury to play, but it doesn’t last forever.

Favorite route to run?

Definitely a post route. Turning on the jets and faking a corner is always satisfying when you make the DB’s hips turn. Then having the whole rest of the field to yourself to make a play is the best feeling.
