Jackson Heeringa Class of 2021 Batavia OL 6'7 260
Jackson Heeringa how has your season been so far?
So far my season has been good and I have been getting used to playing on varsity for the first time ever. Its been difficult to play at the level that we play at and with a young offensive line it makes it even more difficult. But we have worked hard together and have taken our selves to the next level
What has been your favorite memory so far?
My favorite memory so far is watching Quinn Urwiler hurdle someone in the Naperville North game
What do you see in this Lake Park team for Friday night?
The way I see the lake park team this Friday is just as another obstacle in the way of the Bulldogs achieving greatness. We will use them to fuel us and get better for the next opponent and so on.
How has wrestling helped you in playing on the line for football?
It’s helped a lot with overall quickness and endurance as well and having faster hands but it has also helped tremendously with mental strength and being able to tell your body not to quit when it feels tired
What schools have you talked to so far?
So far the only schools I have talked to have been the university of North Dakota as well as the university of Iowa
What should college coaches know about you?
They should know that I am extremely hard working both on and off the field and that I take every opportunity to get better
Who is the big eater on the Bulldog OL?
I gotta say it’s Logan Heinke because I’ve seen him put down a lot of food especially at our team dinners
