Ethan Nelson how was your summer?

My summer went very well, I gained a great understanding of my teams offense and I feel like I have truly stepped into the leadership role my teammates need me to be in.

What part of your game do you think grew over the summer?

I would say my footwork has improved a lot over the summer, I’ve been focusing on getting more comfortable in the pocket with my coaches and I think it’s really paying off.

What goal do you have for yourself this season?

My personal goal this season is to help my team win as many games as we can and start to get more interest from schools in my recruitment process.

What is one thing college college coaches should know about you?

College coaches should know I will do anything for my team and I’m an extremely hard worker. I’m very competitive and I will do anything for my team to get a W.

Who is going to have a breakout season on Waubonsie Valley iin your view?

On the offensive side of the ball, Sam Skuja and Charlie Millington are going to have a phenomenal year. Myles Pettaway, Sean Clinton, Elijah Lee and Demari Wilson are all great wide outs and they will definitely be guys to keep an eye on. On defense, Joey Gits and Grayson Griffen are going to do great things for our team.

What does playing QB mean to you?

Playing quarterback means a lot to me. I’ve wanted to play QB my entire life, and I’ve been coming to Waubonsie games since middle school. It’s a dream come true to be the starter for my senior year. I also am a natural leader and I love being able to lead my brothers every day.
