Jack Nimesheim how was your summer?

Overall I would say I had a great summer. I was able to attend camps at Northwestern, Washington University in St. Louis, and Denison. Most importantly, I was able to get ready for the upcoming season with my teammates.

How does Loyola look for this upcoming season?

It really should be an awesome year. We are talented on both sides of the ball and have amazing coaches who will always put us in position to win games.

This is your senior year... What does that mean to you?

It really means everything to me. I am going to embrace every moment of these next 14 weeks with the people I am lucky enough to call my teammates.

What is one game you are looking forward to this upcoming season?

I am very excited for our opener against St. Ignatius Cleveland next Saturday. They are a great team that will give us a big challenge.

What does football mean to you?

Football truly is more than a game to me. It goes without saying that I enjoy playing, but beyond even just that, it has taught me so many life lessons, and has given me the opportunity to meet so many great people.

What does being captain of the Loyola Academy football team mean to you?

Being a team captain is truly an honor. I am proud to represent such a storied program, and to have the opportunity to lead such an awesome group of players.
