Upstate Eight Conference 2019 Preview With Coach Big Pete- Everything Is Coming Up Bartlett
Bartlett is the team to beat in the Upstate Eight and my top dog team for 2019. My challengers are Glenbard South, South Elgin, and Glenbard East with all three on level with Bartlett. Really think that Glenbard South could give Barlett a run for their money with there QB and athletic skill spots. Glenbard East lost 5 great starters to graduation but have quality depth for 2019. South Elgin is a team that can stretch out secondaries and give DCs headaches. My surprise team for 2019 is Elgin, and I got to say they have a nice group of seniors returning with Bonds and watch out for junior Lomax. Now Aurora East to me is still building but they have a great coaching staff as the foundation of the program. West Chicago and Streamwood is a tough one, both teams have quality defenders but again issue is size and depth. Larkin has great underclass of athletes but their thin line worries me.
