Deep Dish Football Tour 2019: Stop #10 West Aurora - New Conference But Same Old Blackhawk Success

Head Coach Nate Eimer

9-2 2018 Record

Made IHSA Playoffs

West Aurora enters the Southwest Priaire Conference in 2019 with a key group of players returning and some major losses to graduation. Great offense presence for the Blackhawks and what more can be said about there senior QB Will Tammaru that hasnt been already said. Will Johnson is their big guy on the defensive line that could give offenses huge trouble on the line. My big time player to watch for WAHS is Aaron Jankovsky at DB/WR. Keep an eye out for that Blackhawk secondary, as could give fits to QBs. This 2019 team is going to have 3-5 breakout stars on it at the end of the season.

KEY LOSSES: Moshe Rogers, Dee Spivey, Ian Mooney, Jaquan Buchanan, Davaris Cheeks, Denver Warren (transfer), Zach Jacobson

KEY PLAYERS: Will Tammauru, Matt Johnson, Evan Alexandrou, Aaron Jankovsky, Logan Mont, Rodney Jones, Cameron Van Vleet

2019 Schedule

West Aurora vs Oswego- Is the game to watch

Key for West Aurora is they have Oswego, Oswego East, Plainfield North at home this season.

Trap Game- Plainfield East Week 2

Coach Big Pete's 2019 Bold Prediction SURE TO GO WRONG- West Aurora starts 5-0
