Fox Valley Conference 2019 Preview With Coach Big Pete: Crystal Lake Championship?
Alright now its time for a visit to the land of giants aka Fox Valley. For the Fox Valley I got three top dogs in Prairie Ridge, Huntley, Crystal Lake South for the 2019 season. Now talking about challengers I have Crystal Lake Central, Cary Grove, Jacobs. Cary Grove has a mind bending defense and revamped group of talented players on offense. Now I have one surprise team in the Fox Valley Conference with newcomer Burlington Central . Prairie Ridge to me has an assort of weapons on offense and great defense and strong secondary. Crystal Lake South might be one of the biggest teams in Illinois that could make some noise in November with a young gunslinger. Huntley has a good defense coming back, and I got to say that OL could cause some headaches. Jacobs had an off year last year, and their offense seems to make some noise for this upcoming season. Burlington Central enters FVC at the right time with other teams that have more questions then answers. Great line play, and program growth from Melvin and staff makes this team a surprise for this upcoming season. Dundee Crown lost a lot of playmakers and their top QB which will hurt this season. McHenry is a question wrapped in a enigma that could do something depending on their first weeks into the season. Hampshire has a great youth movement going on, and really like QB/ATH Class of 2022 Brown.

BEST BET: Fox Valley will have one team in the IHSA Semifinals 2019 and maybe state
