Elijah Dertz how has your summer been?
It's been fantastic
How does EPC look for this upcoming season?
Very young. We lost a huge chunk of our team last year. We have a couple of seniors this year including myself who are experienced varsity football players and we plan leading our younger guys to have the same attitude as last year's team
What excites you the most about this upcoming season?
I'm excited to lead my team as a senior for another great season and hopefully another long playoff run
How has lifting been?
Excellent. I'm the strongest I've ever been and I'm a much better athlete too
Who are some players on EPC that I should be on the lookout for this upcoming season?
Wyatt Hammer, BJ Heeren, Lane Christians, Travis Kaney, Bryson Sturtevant, and Carson Clouse
What game are you looking forward to the most this upcoming season?
Week 1 against Lena. They are a very good football team and should be a great chance for us to see where we stand
Greatest thing about playing for EPC football is?
The mentality of being a strong and physical player and the brotherhood I have with my teammates
Who is the funniest player on EPC?
Wyatt Hammer hands down. He's always ready to make a joke or ease some tension with some light humor
