Well here we go the Interstate Eight Version 2.0 minus Plano and Sandwich who now join the I8.... Confusing Right?..... Illinois Central Eight features three IHSA title contenders in Coal City, Wilmington, Herscher. Coal City has a stacked roster returning along with Herscher also. Wilmington is Wilmo and will be Class 3A challgeners with discpline and athleticsim. Streator and Peotone are my two surprise teams with nice group of seniors availble in the depth and how can you bet against Coach Tolly and Coach Hassett . Manteno and Lisle both have tough stretch of games, but if they piece wins again early watch out. Now we get to Reed Custer and they could be a wild card team if they get out in front of Lisle, Peotone, Manteno. Could Coal City upset a ICCP if they meet in the playoffs? The answer is -YES-
