Joshua Dornink how was your 2018 season?

It was a great experience playing on varsity as a freshman and having our team make it to the quarter finals of the playoffs. I stepped into a new position on defense and am thankful for my coaches and teammates that helped me learn it.

What schools have been talking to you so far?

Iowa, NIU, Kentucky, Western Illinois, Eastern Michigan, and was invited to Penn State for camp.

What should college coaches know about you?

I’m a hard worker both on the field and in the classroom. I love this sport and I’m a team player willing to do whatever it takes to win and to help make my teammates better around me.

What game last season do you think was your best game?

I think my best game was the second round playoff game against the number 1 seed, Princeville. I returned an interception for a touchdown right before half to give us the momentum going into the second half.

Being born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and living there until I was almost 8 makes me appreciate and realize how lucky I am everyday to have the opportunity to play football and be part of a team with great friends and coaches.

What goal do you have for yourself this season?

Personal goals - over 1000 yards rushing and 500 yards receiving, and improve my speed, strength, and quickness Team goals - win a state title.
