Justin Kowalak how was your 2018 season?
My 2018 season was really good, as a freshman I started on JV and backed up on varsity. On JV I passed for over 1043 yards and 11 total touchdowns( 9 pass 2 rush) with a 61% completion rate in only 7( 2 getting cancelled due to weather) and my team finished with a positive record
What do you like about playing QB?
The thing that I like about playing Quarterback is the leadership role since it is the most important position on the field, I can have a big impact on the game depending on my play. Also I would say the pressure that comes with it.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
This offseason I have been working on reading defenses better making sure I know where to go with the ball every play and also overall footwork
What goal do you have for yourself this season?
My goal is to just play the best I can so we can win a lot of games and win state
What is your favorite route to pass to?
Haha, it’s gotta be the fade route I love to air it out
What game are looking forward to the most this upcoming season?
Cary Grove
If you could play one position other than QB, What would it be?
It would probably be wide receiver
